Made to order, not from a warehouse
Barki Sofa Hub is a sofa business based in Blackburn, Lancashire. We sell fabric sofas made to order — corner suites, U-shapes, L-shapes, Chesterfields and matching two-and-three-seater sets — and deliver them free across mainland UK.
Everything we sell is made after you order it. We work with experienced sofa manufacturers who build each piece to the size, fabric and colour you choose, so there are no rooms full of unsold stock. When you send us your room measurements, the sofa that arrives at your door is built for that room.
Why we don't have a showroom
We are a delivery-only business. Our Blackburn premises is a storage and dispatch unit, not a shop, and it is not open to the public. That is a deliberate choice rather than a limitation: high-street furniture retailers carry the cost of large display floors, sales staff and stock sitting unsold, and that cost ends up in the price of the sofa. We would rather keep that cost out of your price.
What replaces the showroom is WhatsApp. Send us a message and we will send back photographs of the model you are considering, close-ups of the fabric you are thinking about, and honest advice on whether the size you have in mind will actually work in your room. If you want to see a fabric in person before committing, ask and we will arrange it.
What goes into our sofas
Frames are solid hardwood. Seats and backs are built up from foam and fibre rather than foam alone, which is what stops a sofa flattening into a shapeless heap after a year of being sat on in the same spot. Fabrics are chosen for how they wear, not just how they photograph: plush velvet, Naple woven, Kensington premium weave, chenille, crush velvet and jumbo cord are all hard-wearing and easy to clean.
Because each piece is made individually, changing the dimensions is not an expensive special request — it is simply how we work. If your alcove is twenty centimetres narrower than a standard corner sofa, the sofa is made twenty centimetres narrower. There is no surcharge for standard resizing.
How we sell
There is no checkout on this website, and that is intentional. Buying a made-to-measure sofa involves decisions — configuration, fabric, colour, dimensions, which way the corner faces — that are much easier to get right in a conversation than in a shopping basket. So the whole order happens over WhatsApp: you tell us what you need, we confirm the specification and a firm price, and we arrange it.
Payment is flexible. Cash on delivery is available on most orders, or you can pay a deposit and settle the balance when the sofa arrives. Delivery is free across mainland UK and typically takes two to three days from the point your order is confirmed.
Straight answers
We would rather talk you out of the wrong sofa than sell you one that does not fit. If you send us measurements and the model you have picked will not go up your stairs or round your landing, we will tell you, and suggest something that will. A sofa that has to be taken away again helps nobody.
