Every Ashton Corner Sofa is made to order. You choose the fabric, the colour and the exact dimensions, including how far each arm of the corner runs. If your alcove is 20cm narrower than a standard suite, it is made 20cm narrower rather than asking you to live with a sofa that blocks a doorway.
Frames are solid hardwood and the seats are built from foam with a fibre layer over the top, so the corner section holds its shape rather than collapsing into the part everyone sits in. Every sofa is covered by your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, so if one turns out to be faulty we repair, replace or refund it and collect at our cost. Corner suites are built in sections where access needs it, so a tight hallway or a turn on the stairs is rarely a reason to rule one out. We deliver free across mainland UK, usually within two to three days of your order being confirmed, and cash on delivery is available so you can pay when it arrives — see delivery for the detail, including the access measurements worth checking first. Yes, and there is no extra charge. Stand facing the sofa: if the long run goes off to your right it is a right-hand corner, and if it goes to your left it is a left-hand corner. Tell us which you need and it is made that way round.
Usually yes, because we can build a corner suite in separate sections so each piece goes through a standard doorway and is assembled in the room. We need to know before we start, so send us your doorway, hallway and stair measurements when you order. Our measuring guide covers exactly what to check.
It depends entirely on the length you choose, which is the point of a made-to-order sofa. As a rough guide, a standard corner suite seats four to five adults comfortably, and extending the long run by half a metre adds another seat. Send us your wall measurements and we will tell you what will actually fit.
