Every Ashton L-Shape Sofa is made to order. You choose the fabric, the colour, the exact dimensions and which side the chaise sits on. If the room only has 20cm to spare, we take the 20cm off rather than asking you to squeeze a standard size into a space that will not take it.
Frames are solid hardwood with foam and fibre cushioning. Every sofa is covered by your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, so if one turns out to be faulty we repair, replace or refund it and collect at our cost. The chaise can be built on either side at no extra cost, and the whole sofa can be made in sections if your doorways or stairs are tight — tell us before we start and we will plan it around the access. We deliver free across mainland UK, usually within two to three days of your order being confirmed, and cash on delivery is available so you can pay when it arrives — see delivery for the detail, including the access measurements worth checking first. Because each sofa is cut to your specification, please read our returns and cancellations policy before you order.
Yes. Send us your room dimensions on WhatsApp and we'll adjust the length, depth and configuration to fit. There's no extra charge for standard resizing.
In practice the terms overlap, but we use L-shape for a sofa where one side is a shorter chaise or return, and corner for a suite where both runs are full seating depth. An L-shape tends to suit a smaller room or one where you want a lounging end rather than extra seats.
Yes, at no extra charge. Tell us whether you want it on the left or the right as you look at the sofa, and it is made that way. If you are unsure, send a photo of the room and we will suggest which way round works.
We can build L-shapes in sections so each part passes through a standard doorway and the sofa is assembled in the room. Send your doorway, hallway and stair measurements when you order so we can plan it properly — our measuring guide explains what to measure.
Yes. Cash on delivery is available on most orders, or you can pay a deposit and settle the balance when the sofa arrives. Full details are on our delivery page.
