Where we deliver
Delivery is free across mainland UK on every order. We deliver most frequently across Lancashire and Greater Manchester, including Blackburn, Darwen, Accrington, Burnley, Preston, Bolton, Blackpool, Bury, Rochdale, Manchester, Chorley, Nelson, Colne, Clitheroe, Leyland and Wigan.
If your town is not on that list it does not mean we cannot reach you. Send us your postcode on WhatsApp and we will confirm, and free delivery still applies across mainland UK.
What happens on delivery day
We confirm a date with you once your order and fabric are agreed. The sofa is carried into the room you want it in, not left on the pavement or in the hallway, and the packaging is taken away with us.
Most corner and U-shape sofas travel in sections and are assembled in the room. That is deliberate: it is what lets a large sofa get through an ordinary front door and around an ordinary staircase.
Before we leave, check the sofa over while we are still there. Colour and fabric against what you agreed, rough dimensions, the seams and arms for transit damage, and that the corner or chaise is on the side you asked for. Raising something at the door is far simpler than arranging a collection later.
Access: the part worth taking seriously
Much of the housing across East Lancashire and Greater Manchester is Victorian or Edwardian terraced stock, and it shares a set of access problems that modern furniture sizing ignores.
- The turn at the foot of the stairs. In a two-up two-down this is very often narrower than the front door, and it is the single most common reason a sofa cannot get upstairs.
- Narrow hallways. A hall under 80cm wide limits how a long section can be angled.
- Vestibule doors. Two doors in quick succession with a small space between them is harder than one narrow door.
- Half-landings. A turn halfway up the stairs needs more clearance than a straight flight.
- Flats without lifts. Tell us the floor number before ordering, not on the day.
The fix is simple and it costs nothing: measure the narrowest point on the route before the sofa is made. If there is a problem, we can usually build the sofa in smaller sections to solve it — but only if we know in advance. Our measuring guide covers how to take those numbers.
Parking and street access
Worth a thought in terraced streets, town centres and anywhere with resident permit zones. If there is nowhere to stop outside, tell us when we confirm the date and we will plan for it. In Blackburn, Burnley, Nelson and Colne in particular, the older terraced streets can be tight for a van, and knowing in advance saves everyone time.
Why there is no showroom to visit
We are a delivery-only business. Our Blackburn premises is not open to the public, so there is nowhere to come and browse. That is a deliberate choice rather than a limitation: showroom floors, display stock and sales staff all end up in the price of the sofa, and we would rather that money went into the sofa itself.
What replaces the showroom is WhatsApp. Send a message and you get photographs of the model you are considering, fabric and colour details, honest advice on whether the size will work in your room, and a firm price — usually within minutes. You can read more on our Blackburn page or our about page.
Paying on the day
Cash on delivery is available on most orders, or you can pay a deposit and settle the balance when the sofa arrives. If you want to understand how that works and what to check before you hand over money, we have written a full guide to cash on delivery sofas in the UK.
Common questions
Do you charge for delivery in Lancashire?
No. Delivery is free across mainland UK, including all Lancashire and Greater Manchester postcodes. There is no minimum order value for free delivery.
Will the sofa be carried into the room?
Yes. We carry it into the room you want it in and take the packaging away. Most corner and U-shape sofas arrive in sections and are assembled in the room.
What if my sofa will not fit up the stairs?
Tell us about narrow stairs, half-landings or tight hallways before the sofa is made. We can usually build it in smaller sections to solve access, but only if we know in advance. A photo of your hallway on WhatsApp is often enough for us to check.
Can I visit your Blackburn premises to see the sofas?
No, we are delivery-only and the premises is not open to visitors. Everything is arranged over WhatsApp instead, with photographs, fabric details and sizing advice before you order.
How do I check you deliver to my area?
Send us your postcode on WhatsApp and we will confirm. Free delivery applies across mainland UK, so most addresses are covered even if the town is not listed on this page.
